WE'RE MAMÁ.

Just like you.

Mamá Placenta Encapsulation was founded in 2017 by Devon-based entrepreneur, Natalia Hodgson. Mamá are specialists in placenta encapsulation, having trained to recognised IPEN (Independent Placenta Encapsulation Network) standards.

Our company's flagship service is Placenta Encapsulation and our best-selling product is our placenta capsules. But placenta pills aren't all we do. We also produce additional placenta products, from balm and tincture to face cream and smoothies.

TALK TO MAMÁ

OUR FOUNDER

Natalia is the Devon-based founder of Mamá Placenta Encapsulation. She qualified as a Placenta Remedies Specialist after completing IPEN Placenta Remedies Training and Certification, Europe's leading placenta remedies training program.

Natalia also holds a Level 2 in Food Hygiene, a Level 2 in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and a Level 2 in Infection Control. After working as a qualified, self-employed hairdresser for over a decade, Natalia decided for a career change.

Mama Placenta Encapsulation was born.
When she's not transforming placentas for postpartum mothers, Natalia devotes her time to her young family. She married her childhood sweetheart, husband Phil, just over five years ago.

Now, the couple have three children - Olivia, who's ten, Jack, who's seven, and baby Ivy, who's 18-months-old (pictured) - and the family live in Newton Abbot in Devon.

Baby Ivy was born last year in Torbay Hospital by Cesarean... which was filmed by the hospital for an educational video. Watch it here.
